Werdegang / Ausbildung: 
Alejandra Cárdenas (also ‘Ale Hop’) is a composer and instrumentalist from Lima, Peru, who is based in Berlin. She has her fingers in several artistic pies like video, graphic and web design mirrored by the cinematic qualities of her productions. When not working on her solo endeavors she is engaged with creating scores for films and TV. She has composed, produced and edited seven studio albums which has led her to present her music in concerts and exhibitions in Peru, Argentina, Mexico, United States, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Turkey and Czech Republic in the past years. She has also starred in two documentary films about music: ‘What Difference Does It Make? A Film about Making Music ‘ directed by Ralf Schmerberg in collaboration with the Mindpirates artistic collective (2016) and ‘Lima Grita: Catálogo de lo efímero’ directed by Dana Bonilla and Ximena Valdivia (2018).
