Werdegang / Ausbildung: 
Riccardo Torresi is an italian media artist, architect and illustrator based in Berlin.
After finishing his studies in Architecture, in 2013 he was awarded with the 1st prize at the International Architectural Thesis Award and the Archiprix Italia 2013 for Au Fil du Fleuve , a research about sustainable development processes in Saint Louis, Senegal. In 2013 he is enrolled in a master program about Interaction Design at Berliner Technische Kunsthochschule. The same year he is cofounder of Boys Club art collective in Berlin.
The same year he was selected for the Anthropocene project: Future Storytelling at Haus der Kulturen der Welt in Berlin, exhibiting the media art project Anthropocene: A Data Visualization.
In october 2014 he joined as a interection designer and media artist the Berlin Festival of Lights with the light installation Revive .In february 2015 he graduated in Media Art and design at Berliner Technische Kunsthochschule with his theoretical work Space Through New Media a philosophical research about the role of New Media in the understanding of space. As a result of this conceptual study he exhibited Relative Space, an interactive art installation that focus on the role of the human body on the physical production of space.
Always fascinated by the ways in which the transformation of contemporary culture requires a new perception of space, with his artworks he wants to investigate the subtle interactions between the digital and the physical world.
