Werdegang / Ausbildung: 
Alexander Matveev is a photographer and member of the Kaliningrad Union of Photographers. In his work, he focuses
on natural and urban landscapes and explores how people in the Kaliningrad region relate to their physical and social
environment. He participated in a project on the transboundary natural area Vishtynetskoye Lake - Romintskaya
Pushcha and in the first triennial of Russian contemporary art in the category ‘Fidelity to Place’ at the Garage Museum
of Contemporary Art in Moscow in 2017. Moreover, he is the author of a photographic documentary in the Kaliningrad
region.
