Werdegang / Ausbildung:
David Mathúna (b.1991) is a multidisciplinary artist from Cork, Ireland currently living and working in Berlin, Germany. Making use of generative and improvised processes, David’s practice brings together various time-based media, live performance and installation into a visceral, collage-based aesthetic. Central to his interests are the synthesis of aesthetic forms such as rhythm and repetition, the physical energy of sound, lighting dynamics and spatial perception, building multi-faceted sensory events seeking to stimulate, alienate, inspire meditative states, foreground the present moment and allow unasked questions to surface.
