Noemi Yoko Molitor aka homonym (*1981), lives and works in Berlin. Her artistic practice includes painting, rgb-colorscapes, found objects and experimental video. Molitor studied Gender Studies and European Ethnology at Humboldt University Berlin and Cornell University, Ithaca, NY. She is currently finishing her dissertation “Chrononauts in Chromotopia” at Emory University, Atlanta, USA. In her academic and artistic projects she traces immersion as an experience of color excess in analogue and digital image spaces. www.noemiyokomolitor.com

In 2015, Molitor worked as research assistant / assistant curator, for the joint exhibition "Homosexualit_ies", on show at Deutsches Historisches Museum (German Historical Museum) and Schwules Museum* (Gay Museum), Berlin in 2015 as well as at Landesmuseum Münster in 2016. Molitor’s essays on contemporary art and queer film have appeared in CURA, Sleek, Missy, Sissy, the taz and other publications. Her artworks have been shown at "Lesbisches Sehen", Schwules Museum, Berlin, 2018; "Pop-Up Art exhibition 2", The Ballery, Berlin, 2017; "Deep Trash from Outer Space" by Deep Trash / CUNTemporary, Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club, London, 2016; Cinequeer Film Fest, Eyedrum Galerie, Atlanta, Georgia, 2016; "Pride in Visual Art Show", Queer Arts Festival, Roundhouse, Vancouver, 2016; "Queer: Post-sexual – the box Re-examined", 15th FRINGE! Queer film and arts festival, Rose Lipman Building, London, 2015. Molitor's work is included in the collection of Schwules Museum, Berlin.
