Werdegang / Ausbildung: 
Juan Camilo Alfonso is a Colombian artist working on public space interventions
since 2009. Participatory projects, street-art, printmaking techniques and
performances are core to his practice. Based on the understanding of historical
memory, as a means to rebuild broken social fabric, Juan Camilo's projects call for
social interactions to support reconciliation processes in different contexts.
Currently he works as an educator for graphic arts and painting in Bernau bei Berlin
and is part of the working group of the station urbaner kulturen of the nGbK.
