Werdegang / Ausbildung:
I was born in 1982 in East Siberia. 2006 I received a degree in Linguistics from the Irkutsk State Linguistic University. The science of language and semiotics reveal themselves in my artistic practice to date. In the following years I lived in England, Germany, and Belgium, finally residing in St. Petersburg, where I was taking lessons in classical drawing and painting. However, I was predominantly active, working for the radio and making street installations, often in connection with political and environmental issues in Russia.
In the year 2011, I moved to Germany. I have studied at the Burg Giebiechenstein Academy, Halle, and at the Sculpture Department of the Weißensee Academy of Art Berlin, from which I graduated in 2017.
In my current practice, I combine sculptural elements with movement and sound, creating performances and installations for open-air spaces and for the stage.
