Werdegang / Ausbildung: 
Raised in Helsinki, now based in Berlin, the Finnish artist and graduate of Painting and Multimedia at her former hometown’s Academy of Fine Arts also did a stint at the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris.
Switching between collage, painting, installation and performance Niina Lehtonen Braun draws on a rich palette of multi-disciplinary inspiration and experience. She has published two art books, Mother Said (Kerber Verlag 2013) and These Foolish Things Remind Me of You (Kerber Verlag 2016). She is a member of the performance group JOKAklubi (FI/DE) and the project space HilbertRaum in Neukölln. She regulary works together with the group Sabotanic Garden (FI/CZ/MEX).
