Werdegang / Ausbildung:
Pauline Agustoni is a multimedia artist working in Berlin.

After her graduation from Design Academy Eindhoven (the Netherlands), she developed her own practice focussing on conceptual and textile art. With varied and engaged projects, her work focuses on the narratives and histories that are present behind objects, materials and places.

Interested in female and queer speech in particular, she aims at giving a stage for those voices within her work. Her physical presence on the field and her hands-on approach places encounters with people at the center of her projects.

Her project "informal feminist library" is the creation of an alternative and independent library in her atelier in Neukölln, Berlin. Constituted of more than 120 books, the library is a collection of publications (novels, essays, short stories, comics and zines) about feminism and queer theory. The books are available to be borrowed for free.

The library is all at once a private collection gone public, a free access to feminist readings, an experimental space to have conversations in and a big question mark on what is professional and what is informal.

During 48 Stunden Neukölln, informal feminist library will be open to the public. There will be a sale of zines, books and postcards.
