Werdegang / Ausbildung:
Media Designer for Digital- and Printmedia – Gutenbergschule Leipzig
Advanced Technical Certificate in Design – Best-Sabel Hochschule
Print & Media Technician (B. Eng) – Beuth Hochschule für Technik Berlin

He creates work in which a fascination with symptoms of suppressed psychological confrontation and an uncompromising attitude towards dark aesthetics can be found. The recent work of the self-taught beginner is aloof, while symbolic and sepulchral imagery is almost exclusively used.

With a subtle minimalistic approach, he creates intense personal moments created by means of rules and omissions, acceptance and refusal, luring the viewer in circles. His work challenges the binaries we continually reconstruct between Self and Other, between our own ‘cannibal’ and ‘civilized’ selves. Rob Chamber currently lives and works as a photographer and freelance media designer in Berlin.
