Art discipline: 
Aino El Solh has studied art in Rotterdam, Marseille and Helsinki, and is now a resident of Berlin.
She is part of the Maternal fantasies artist collective which started in 2018 and won the Arthur Boskamp Förderpreis in 2019.
Aino is an author in the Secret Diary of Somebody Else, a writing collaboration which she initiated with her collegue Sabrina Basten in 2013. She is also working on a large personal, ongoing project called My first million, which has been shown in Rotterdam, Zurich and Berlin.
Parallel to the art praxis, Aino has Experience from several self-initiated projects where built space is used in new ways, such as De Fabriek Squat in Rotterdam that provided alternative cultural programme for the city (such as hosting the Undeaf festival in 2007), and the Mrs. Blacks house guest house, which was located in three apartments in Berlin. She also studied magazine journalism and writes to magazines.
