Art discipline: 

Fabian was born in Stuttgart, Germany, in 1976 and now is living and working in Berlin.

Fabian studied philosophy and art history from 1997 to 1999 in Tuebingen, Germany.

He studied with Prof. Diedrich Diederichsen art and design at the Merz Academy in Stuttgart and graduated with Diploma. And with a Master of Arts from the University of Portsmouth in 2005.

Fabian is creating instant film art since the year 2000. He manually manipulates the polaroids in his original style he invented and developed over 22 years now.


Fabian says:

“In search for the truth and what’s real I scratch the surface and find out there is “nothing” behind it. Now I want to peel the skin off reality - exhibit the matrix - to show that the world is only an illusion.”

“The universe has beauty in abundance and consciousness to witness it. My art is trying to show you and remind you of that.”

“The world is only an illusion. Life is a dream. Wake up and know yourself!”

1997 to 1999 art history and philosophy (with Prof. Höffe, Prof. Figal) at the University of Tübingen, Germany.

2001 to 2005 Art, Design, Film and Media at the Merz Academy, University of Applied Art, Design and Media, Stuttgart, Germany.

2003 to 2005 Art, Design, Film and Media. University of Portsmouth, England.

Studied and graduated with a Diploma and Master of Arts with Prof. Diedrich Diederichsen.
