Thomas Proksch is a performer at the intersection of artistic disciplines such as dance, visual arts, voice, sound and DJing. Spirits of Places, with Rocio Marano, is an artistic practice that explores our connectivity with natural bodies and environments (Guapamacátaro Center for Art and Ecology Mexico 2019, AADK Blanca Spain 2020), other own works are "LE_GO", premiered at "Immersionen" Berliner Festspiele 2018 and the lecture Critical Techno 1-3 in collaboration with artist Helena Dietrich, presented in Paris, Brussels and Berlin. In addition, Thomas Proksch is interpret of numerous works by artist Tino Sehgal (e.g.Venice Biennale, Documenta Kassel, Shed NYC, Okayama Art Summit, Berlin Atonal). He composed the soundtrack for the movies Invocations of Remembrance by Paola Bascon, and performed the music for Ostentation by Sophia Rodriguez (Impulstanz Vienna 2021) and La Isla Bonita by Julian Weber (Tanzfabrik Berlin 2021). Happy Sisyphos a performance for young audiences in collaboration with Hermann Heisig premiered this march at Tanztage Potsdam. Thomas Proksch currently plays works by Tino Sehgal at MdbK Leipzig and is part of Fortuna Neukölln, a communal place for research and choreography.
