Clever Disguises: Clever Melodies is a multi-disciplinary installation and free-form workshop in which the public is invited into the studio and exhibition space Schierkerstr. 39 to create, collaborate and listen throughout the duration of 48 Hours Neukolln.

Alongside a large video projection, Clever Disguises will feature an installation of hanging wind chime mobiles that combine found and self-made objects. There will be electric fans within the space to activate the possibilities of sounds that can be produced by wind chimes.

The daytime hours will be dedicated to open, free-form workshops for the public. The space will contain boxes of materials and supplies for festival-goers of all ages to make their own unique wind chimes to take home with them.

The evening hours on Saturday are dedicated to an intimate short film programme with films by international artists. We hope that guests will enjoy Schierkerstr. 39 - as an active workshop space during the day and DIY cinema on Saturday evenings.
