'The earth speaks to us, but do we still know its language?
A girlchild is sitting there, she plays, holds a handful earth, which sie gently examines with her finger and throws a few granules into the air.
And I, I caught them for you!

Biography
Li Koelan
From 1981 to 1986 I studied painting and sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts "St. Joost" in the Netherlands.
At the Universities of Utrecht, Antwerp and Berlin several studies of philosophy with a focus on sexual difference - ́Ecriture femine ́ which have influenced my life and my art very much.
My artworks have their roots in the femininity of my BEING.
Since the beginning of the project 'The Earth is Indivisible', it has become more important to me, as an artist, to find creative and aesthetic answers to the many crises in which we have ended up as humanity.
I am the founder of the Earth Museum, which houses the social sculpture "The Earth is Indivisible". More information about my artistic works, you can read on my websites
