28 June 2025 12:00 – 29 June 2025 19:00
° The work presented for 48Std Nk shows a virtual walk through different parts of the planet that seem almost unreal and taken from a video game. Will you be able to recognise which part of the world they are taken from?
° What is real and what is objective? In writing worlds, the boundaries become blurred and what sounds like a conspiracy myth in everyday life becomes a source of creativity in writing.
In 120 minutes of writing exercises, we will find the author within us and write about a parallel reality where nothing is as it seems.
° Galponia was created as an upcycling brand transforming unused clothes into useful bags. Currently focusing on experimenting with different manual textile recycling techniques and exploring the many possible uses of textile waste. Inviting to reflect on our consumption habits and the current throwaway culture.
° Polster Atelier 22 offers an opportunity to discover the beauty of objects abandoned on the streets of Berlin. Repaired, cleaned and reworked, the objects found on the streets are presented to the public during the 48 hours of Neukölln.
° Over the last four years, we’ve been getting intimate with a beloved East German lake, the Helenesee. Once a coal mine, then a GDR vacation destination, today, the kleine Ostsee is a sinking lake with an uncertain future. Gruss vom Helenensee is an ongoing research project and living docufiction. This is our libretto. We want you to take it home and invite you to read it at your own pace. For info on our future performances join t.me/helenesee.
