A Creative Day in the ArtenGarten: “Spiderweb” Installation & Garden Object Exhibition
Alexandra Goloborodko, Aleksandra Yurieva-Civjane, ZIP group
28 June 2025 12:00–18:00
Welcome to the “ArtenGarten” – a green community space in Berlin-Neukölln!
We invite you to co-create a site-specific installation called “Spiderweb” and gain hands-on insights into natural architectures, forms, and weaving techniques.
At the same time, we will show the results of the “BAUMeister” workshop, led by the artist collective ZIP group: garden objects and wooden furniture that will be on display and can be explored on site.
This event is for everyone interested in discovering the ArtenGarten, connecting creatively, and becoming part of the garden community.
Snacks, (hopefully) sunshine, fun, and collaborative creation – we’re looking forward to seeing you!
17.00 Performance GroovRoots
Theater group Spław presents GroovRoots
Using a unique technique developed by Serhiy Demchuk and ZIP Group, the roots—gathered across Berlin—will be used to extract natural sounds, capturing the pulse hidden within wood. The event invites participants to tune into the rhythms resonating from the inner vibrations of the trees, balancing roots in their hands to create a collective echo—a breathing organism, an orchestra woven into the urban soundscape.
This event is for everyone interested in discovering the ArtenGarten, connecting creatively, and becoming part of the garden community.
Funded by the PwC Foundation and the “Auf Augenhöhe” fund.
Project holder: Kulturschafft e.V.
