Faces of Estrangement is a series of artworks exploring themes of alienation, identity, and emotional fragmentation. Through a unique combination of abstract painting and digital transformation, artist Hannah Kori blurs the boundaries between reality and perception.
Using her established method, Kori first creates expressive hand-painted canvases, which she then reinterprets through digital manipulation and fine art printing. The result is a layered visual experience that challenges viewers to question their own perceptions of belonging and isolation.
This exhibition takes place in Kori’s own studio—the very space where the artworks are conceived and created. By showcasing the series in its place of origin, the exhibition offers an intimate insight into the artist’s creative process, reinforcing the themes of personal reflection and transformation.
Rooted in personal experiences and extensive research on estrangement, this series reflects the deep emotional and societal impact of disconnection. Through color, form, and texture, Kori invites audiences into an introspective journey—one that resonates universally.
