Which reality is more «real» – the one that is happening around a person or inside of them? The project «Four minutes. Three minutes. No answer» is the clash of these two realities with the juxtaposition of documentary photography and poetry.
The combination of the two examines the perception of reality and how easy the medium and form can trick one’s mind. It is a play with contrasts and distances between the audience and the artist and between the ideas of the truth and of the objectivity of feelings and events. Featuring photos taken in East European countries and in Germany, it also examines the current political and social environment and its influence on the perception of the image and text, of the «truth».
