This project will chronicle confessions, taboos and voyeuristic tendencies, confronting the division between private and public spheres. Performed by young people from immigrant backgrounds as part of 48 Hours Neukölln, it will explore questions about the nature and construction of personal identity.
Directed by teachers from the Clavis Art School - Maria Capraru and Marina Kniazeva. The project is rooted in the exploration of the environment and the creation of imaginary objects and landscapes using the world's largest mapping system - Google Maps. It focuses on the aesthetics of access and the choreographies of care.
Teenage artists, who co-direct and perform in the project, will create surreal collages based on scans they make on the streets of Neukölln.
