Between truth and perception

Does truth even exist?
Is it not the facts of this moment in their constant continuation that, under the influence of multi-layered factors and time axes, bring forth tomorrow and the future?
Even memory and the past are sometimes overwritten by the movement of elementary particles.
The digital has entered the all-encompassing universe as a tool.
It began as a separate world that set itself in motion within reality.
In a chain of repetitive trials and errors designed to enrich our lives, the achievements of our ancestors have been swept away by a great wave of elusive data that is now washing over us.
Faced with the choice of riding this wave or being sucked up by it, we should return to our perception (soul).
What if we could enjoy and nurture what nourishes it, such as literature, music or art as crystallized perception, created in a pre-digital age (and in turn transmitted by our ancestors)?
If we were able to enjoy the miracle machines of civilization with our own original perception, imprinting as much beautiful truth as possible on each moment while thanking those who came before us, then surely our tomorrows would shine in a happier light.
We invite you to an evening of poetry, traditional Japanese music and Japanese dance.

Minako Matsuishi, Chihoko Yanagi, Gisela Puetz-Bocké, Megumi Hayami
Minako Matsuishi:
has been working as a freelance artist in Berlin since 2008, specializing in poetry and painting. She uses images from nature to express personal feelings. In this respect, her poems resemble the classic Japanese three-liners.
Chihoko yanagi:
is a traditional Japanese dancer, kimono expert and founder of the Berlin Sakura Hime kimono meeting place, based in Berlin.
Gisela Puetz-Bocké:
reads the German translation of the Japanese texts.
Megumi Hayami:
plays Shamisen ( Japanese guitar )
