Biography

Stephanie Hightower, Britt Karhoff

Stephanie Hightower is an internationally exhibited artist who lives and works in New York and Berlin. She received art degrees from the University of Dallas and Pratt Institute. Fascinated by blurring lines of abstraction and realism within the genres of landscape, portrait and still life, she composes imagery that has tension by asking the viewer to question meaning.

Visual and performing artist, Britt Karhoff, received a BFA in Dance from UC Santa Barbara in 2006 and studied contemporary painting 2019-21 at Gage Academy of Art in Seattle, WA. Her works highlight dynamic movement, focusing on an adoration of the human form while exploring the messy absurdities and beauty of our shared human experiences. She values emotional risks, the edges of our physical capabilities and vulnerability.
