Carola Aurer
27 June 2025 19:00 – 28 June 2025 00:00
Manticore, the man-eater, symbolises tyranny and oppression. In collages, the exhibition shows how violence against women affects the emotions of the viewer. Representing all women affected by violence, humiliation and murder, the photo of an unknown woman taken by the Nazi authorities in 1941 after the manhunt in Lviv forms the basis of the collages.
