Open Studio Jan Enste

Jan Enste studied fine art at the Kunstakademie Münster in the class of Andreas Köpnick and Daniele Buetti, who made him a master student in 2011. From 2006 to 2012, he worked together with André Stücher in their artist collective Jae Pas. His field of work moves between performative art, new music with his own compositions and film, installation, film art and digital art.
Together with Lejla Aliev, he founded Juli Film in 2020 as a production company for artist-driven film. Jan Enste has been head of the Digital Art Studio at the Kunstakademie Münster since 2024.
