RE/FORM

My large-format digital photo collages combine urban and landscape elements into clear, abstract compositions. Through digital editing, everyday patterns are reinterpreted, while reflections and symmetries transform familiar structures.
Architecture and landscape are deconstructed and rearranged. Skyscrapers and urban structures merge into new cityscapes, where reality and construction blend into one another. Natural elements such as rivers or trees appear in unexpected arrangements, creating a tension between clarity and the unfamiliar.
The strict image structure and square format establish visual uniformity and tranquility. At the same time, the compositions challenge the viewer’s gaze and draw attention to hidden details. The deliberate reordering highlights the aesthetics of everyday forms and places patterns in a new context.
The fusion of real motifs and digital transformation creates a visual language that preserves the familiar and at the same time irritates the viewer.
