(_)scapes

(_)scapes by Sven-Norman Bommes-Böhmig (SNOBB) depict landscapes in which the viewer can lose themselves. In increasingly detailed drawings, forms and depictions become ever new arrangements and contents. Some things appear obvious, others only when you look more closely or with a little help. Hypnotic shapes and psychedelic patterns break up the depictions and the contours disappear. At the same time, the brain tries to find clues and familiar things in order to gain an overview when looking. Welcome to the (_)scapes.
