Biography
Maximilian zum Quadrat
Maximilian zum Quadrat is an artist with schizophrenia, navigating a
world that remains incomprehensible to many. Yet, it is precisely from
this tension that he draws his art. Born in Marburg, raised in
Oldenburg, and repeatedly settling in Neukölln, his life path forms a
magical triangle where reality and hallucination, structure and chaos
intersect. His works are not only an expression of inner voices but also
a dialogue with the outside world—an invitation to rethink reality.
