Between the Worlds

Chris Dietzel’s artistic practice is based on an animistic worldview, which perceives the world not only as physically visible, but also as permeated by invisible energies and forces. In her paintings, she explores subtle dimensions of reality and the perception of reality.

Perception is a subjective process shaped by individual experiences, cultural influences, and personal beliefs. What we perceive as objective reality is always a product of our own filters and preconceptions. In her work, Chris Dietzel invites the viewer to question these boundaries and build a deeper connection to a world beyond the visible.

As part of the festival, she presents works that reveal hidden realities, mystical experiences, and alternative ways of perceiving the world. Through intuitive processes and meditative techniques, the artist seeks to make the invisible visible and raises the question: Is there a universal truth upon which we can all agree, or does truth emerge from sharing diverse perceptions that together create a multifaceted image of reality?
