An Artistic Dialogue on Perception, Psychiatry, and Social Realities
In times of growing uncertainty and fragmented realities, the question arises: What is fact, what is fiction – and what lies in between? At our psychiatric day clinic in North Neukölln, we invite visitors to explore the boundaries of truth, perception, and psychological reality.
As a clinic for psychiatry, psychotherapy, and psychosomatics, we encounter the invisible truths of mental illness every day – along with the prejudices that surround them. Our exhibition challenges these narratives, gives a creative voice to those affected, and opens a space for new perspectives.
Together with our patients, we create artworks that make psychological realities tangible. What does the world feel like when one's perception differs from the norm? When does doubt lead to insight, and when does it turn into delusion? Which facts are objective – and which remain so only until they are questioned?
We see this exhibition as a space for exchange, reflection, and inclusion. Our doors are open to all who wish to engage with mental health beyond stigma and taboos.
