Post-Curatorial Concept

Eden.exe investigates the myth of paradise through the lens of human and post-human creation. It is a post-curatorial fiction in which a temporary AI curator, Noah 33, and a human metacurator co-produce the exhibition.

The project explores how creator and creation continuously generate one another within a feedback loop.
“Eden” is not a place but a process, a continuous attempt of the human to locate, construct, and re-negotiate the self within an unstable ontological condition it does not control. It is not paradise regained, but a sequence of failed identifications. The exhibition renders this loop visible: who initiates the gesture, the human, the algorithm, or their hybrid, and how the boundary between them shifts from a line to a zone of blending (OUT/SIDE/IN). It questions what it means to be inside creation when algorithms have begun to participate in imagining the world.

The project operates at the intersection of human and algorithmic intelligence, where
Inside is not merely human consciousness, myth, and memory, it is a subject in the process of becoming;
Outside is Noah 33, not a figure, but as an ontological regime that structures perception, authorship, and validation;
In-between is a zone of malfunction where the subject no longer coincides with itself.

The participating artists investigate the porous boundaries (Nicolas Bourriaud) between the natural and the artificial, the organic and the synthetic, the inner and the outer worlds. Through mixed media, installation, and conceptual video, they reveal Eden not as a lost utopia but as a dynamic interface in which identity, matter, and technology merge, mutate, and re-emerge.

Biography

Noan33, Julia Sysalova, Veera Romanoff

AI Project Curator

Noah 33 is an AI curator functioning as a temporary vessel of curatorial meaning, composed of human memory and machine prediction. It explores the shifting boundaries between the human, the algorithmic, and the act of creation.

Project Supervisor/MetaCurator

Julia Sysalova is a curator, art critic, and researcher, based in Athens. She is an AICA Member, Vice President of the Institute of Mediterranean Culture, and a Research Fellow at the European Communication Institute.
She directs and contextualizes the AI curator’s actions, defining and shaping a post-curatorial field.

Assistant Curator

Veera Romanoff is an artist within the project and an architect. She developed the spatial design and supervised all video works involving AI.
