A Day in The Life

A DAY IN THE LIFE* is a community chronicle of the silent period from 2021 to 2022. Based on a collection of the original headlines from the local tabloids of the time (`I read the news today oh boy`) spread over a year, the 100+ participants each use one of these days as input for their artistic intelligence, exhibiting works in A3 format in their preferred technique.
Artists of all levels, trained, freelance and generally creative people of all ages and types, including in schools, neighbourhood centres, on the street, etc., came together to share a memory, a thought of that quiet time, partly documentary, partly associative, in photographs, drawings, watercolours, collages, assemblages, etc., and so on. The format is A3. There is one work for each day of the year.
