"Architectures of Healing" is more than a critical narrative about the blind spots of human communication; it is an act of resistance and a framework for the practice of care—both in thought and action. The use of art as a transformative tool and a potential form of "healing" goes hand in hand in the exhibition's architecture with its ability to create new social spaces guided by solidarity, empathy, and mutual understanding.
In this spirit, the exhibition explores ways to reassess the active role of art in society. Throughout its duration, complementary artistic formats will be presented, allowing the social energies that fueled the artists' projects to flow back into the participating public. A schedule will be announced in due course.
Drawing on their experiences and respective strategies, the artists' projects encourage reflection on the structural power of language to [re]shape realities. In the era of [over]information, the word often
proves to be a double-edged sword. Navigating the ambiguities of language, Diana Păun embarks on the uncertain trail of truth in the stream of data. She traces how the abundance of fake news and
disinformation strategies in the public space of technology can have harmful effects on contemporary life. At the same time, Oana Maria Pop questions the inadequacy of language for the horizon of a still
highly stigmatized topic: histories of gender-based violence and the prevalence of ambiguity in the analysis of trauma.
