AT HEART - Pulse in our Voice
AT HEART is a composition for two hearts. AT HEART is a performance that invites the audience to immerse themselves in silence, prick up their ears and open their hearts. The singers Christina Fischer and Sara Decker sing a song and allow the heartbeat to be heard in the sound of their voices.
Can we hear the heartbeat, feel the pulse?
To enable the connection between heart and voice, the artists sing with relaxed bodies and free voices, gently and without accompaniment. They sing a simple, self-composed song that does not cater to conventional listening habits. Spontaneous emotions determine the pulse and musicality of the song.
Can we surrender to the heart?

Biography
Christina Fischer, Sara Decker,
Christina Fischer discovered her passion for sound at an early age. She studied classical singing at the Maastricht Conservatory. Her artistic contribution spans vocal performances, music videos, opera roles and recordings. The self-organisation of the body is central to all her work. www.christina-fischer.com
Sara Decker studied jazz singing, composition and theory at the Manhattan School of Music, New York, supported by the Fulbright Scholarship. She graduated from the Maastricht Conservatory in the Netherlands. The jazz singer and composer combines modern jazz and pop elements with the art of improvisation in her music. She is currently working on her third album "expand" with colleagues from Cologne and New York. www.saradecker.de
