Between Earth and Sky unfolds the tree as a conceptual device to interrogate the instability of boundaries. Rather than a natural motif, the tree operates as a porous structure of relation — a site where subterranean, terrestrial, and atmospheric realms intersect and continuously reconfigure one another.
Across painting, drawing, video, photography, and ceramics, four women artists articulate practices that resist fixed categories, proposing instead a field of entanglement between body and environment, individual and collective, organic and constructed. The tree emerges as a diagram of interdependence, echoing the nervous system as a network of transmission, tension, and balance.
Here, borders are not limits but thresholds — unstable zones where meaning is negotiated and forms remain in flux. Through processes of material attention, repetition, and subtle displacement, the works destabilize binary logics and open space for alternative readings of connection and coexistence.
An accompanying ceramic activation extends the exhibition into the tactile realm, inviting a direct engagement with matter as a temporal and embodied process.
