Christoph Eisinger & Band

Christoph Eisinger

3 July 2026 20:30–21:30
With his four-piece indie-jazz band, Berlin-based composer and pianist Christoph Eisinger brings the music from his latest album "Between Animals and Gods" to the stage. The band plays an eclectic mix of instrumental art-rock and jazz sounds, Serge Gainsbourg meets Portishead meets Ratatat. With epic fanfares, sweeping soundscapes, and, ah!, unforgettable melodies, the band explores the relationship between humanity and nature, including flying whales and new materialism.

Biography

Christoph Eisinger

The Berlin-based composer and pianist Christoph Eisinger has been part of a wide variety of musical groups, from indie rock and punk to jazz. With his new album "Between Animals and Gods" a multifaceted blend of jazz, pop, and classical music, he paints the soundtrack to the Great Labyrinth of Being. The richly orchestrated album stands in productive contrast to his 2022 solo piano EP "In the Detail." In addition to his work as a musician, Christoph creates visual art and has also written collaborative novels.
