"It is just in your head." A phrase often used to dismiss the intangible, the inexplicable—the inner workings of our consciousness. But what if this very realm—the space between waking and sleeping, reality and illusion—was the only reality we have?

This project explores the world of dreams and hallucinations, the workings of the unconscious mind, and its influence on the reality we experience. Through a blend of painting and short stories, it creates an immersive dialogue between the internal and external, the real and the perceived. In this space, dreams are not fleeting distractions, nor are hallucinations mere anomalies—they are powerful expressions of our deepest truths, manifesting as symbols and fragmented images that reflect our fears, desires, and memories.

At the heart of "It is just in your head" lies a paradox: the very thoughts and perceptions we often dismiss as unreliable are, in fact, the only lens through which we view the world. The project challenges the viewer to question: How malleable is our reality?

The boundaries between the conscious and unconscious, the physical and the imaginary dissolve, illustrating that these inner landscapes—often dismissed as mere fantasy—are essential to our understanding of the world. Every stroke of paint, every word written, invites exploration of this hidden yet omnipresent space, where perception and truth meet in a fluid, ever-changing dance.

"It is just in your head," they say—but perhaps there is no other place to be.
