As part of 48 Stunden Neukölln, Gallery Connect and Le Balto have joined
forces to create a shared space for contemporary art, exchange, and
connection.
On view is an exhibition featuring nine emerging female artists working in
abstract art. Their practices move between color, surface, and structure—
ranging from minimal to expressive, yet always distinct. With this
presentation, we aim to actively strengthen the visibility of women in the art
world and offer them a platform within the framework of the festival.
Our format is intentionally open and accessible: come by, discover new artistic
positions, start conversations, and experience art in a relaxed atmosphere. A
selection of natural wines will be served, inviting visitors to linger and adding
warmth to the space for exchange.
All works will be available for purchase. Our goal is to support young artistic
perspectives, build networks, and move art beyond elitist contexts, bringing it
into everyday spaces. We’re looking forward to inspiring encounters,
engaging conversations, and a vibrant weekend of art in Neukölln.

The exhibition brings together nine emerging female artists based in
Hamburg who approach abstract and contemporary painting in diverse ways.
Their works move between intuition and composition, expressive layers of
color, clean lines, and minimalist forms. Inspired by nature, personal
experiences, and human connections, they create pieces that capture moods
and leave space for individual interpretation. Together, they represent a
young and versatile generation of artists enriching the art scene with fresh
perspectives.
