3 July 2026 19:00–22:30
Once a year, the Berlin Global Village – a centre where around 60 NGOs work on social and ecological justice – opens its doors and invites visitors to exchange, connect, and get to know one another. The GLOBALE (formerly BGVestival) is a festival that brings together a wide range of programmes – all under the motto “Unlearn, Reframe, Forge Ties”:

• Stage programme with performances, concerts, and DJ sets
• Two exhibitions on diasporic identity & belonging
• Film programme by M-Power e.V. featuring feminist perspectives in front of and behind the camera
• Workshops: create your own tote bag or get a henna tattoo
• Guided tours through the centre
• Insights into the creation of the first decolonial landmark “Earth Nest”
• Food corner with cuisine from around the world

In addition, visitors have the opportunity to meet the organisations based in the centre and learn more about their work. The festival theme “Unlearn, Reframe, Forge Ties” invites us to question familiar ways of thinking, open up new perspectives, and turn them into collective action. The GLOBALE thus becomes a space where these dynamics become visible and tangible – open, polyphonic, and constantly evolving.

The festival is free of charge.
