The Earth - is the track - of my life. How to live - when tracks are bombed - planned journeys uncertain - the world unpredictable. I travel inwardly - to visit Rabi'a - an ancient Sufi woman, a seamstress - and - a female Seer. Helplessly she searches on the street - in front of her small house - has lost something. Passsing people stand still - and ask: “Rabi'a what have you lost - maybe we can help?“. Almost silent she answers - "My needle….and soon the sun will set". “But where did you lose your needle Rabi'a“ - "in my room it has fallen". The people laugh loudly - “Rabi'a we already knew that you are a bit crazy - if you lost the needle in the house - why are you searching for it on the street?“. "It’s quite simple" Rabi'a says - "there is no light in the house - and here it is still a little bright"- Again the people laugh loudly - and disappear around the corner.

Biography
Li Koelan
Li Koelan studied painting and sculpture at the University of Fine Arts "St. Joost" in the Netherlands and philosophy in Utrecht, Antwerp and Berlin with a focus on 'Ecriture femine ́ Her artworks have their roots in the femininity of her BEING and are multi-layered processes of perceptions and experiences as ´woman of this world´ and as ´daughter of this earth ́ In 2015 she founded ́the Earth Museum in which her work in progress project ´The earth is indivisible ́ is further developed as a social sculpture. In 2025, she was represented with an artwork at the Berlin Biennale!
