Arts of the Working Class, Community Space

Arts of the Working Class is a Berlin-based non-profit cultural platform founded in 2018, at the intersection of journalism, literature, visual arts, and political education. A multilingual street newspaper published five times a year, fostering international artistic collaborations and engaging cultural practitioners worldwide. Since summer 2024, AWC has been based in Neukölln, where its office serves as a community space for art workers — an active hub for workshops, book launches, readings, and screenings. At its core is the belief that social creativity through art is fundamental to imagining more just and collective ways of living together.
