Körnerpark

"Körnerpark is an outstanding park for the district of Neukölln, both in terms of garden design and its impact on the cityscape.
The approximately 2.4-hectare park was created between 1912 and 1916 on the site of a former gravel pit. The layout of the park is strictly axial and 5 to 7 metres lower than the surrounding residential streets. The north and south sides of the park are bordered by high arcade walls. In the main axis, there is an orangery on the west side, which has a terrace in front of it both on the higher neighbouring street and on the park side." (Excerpt from Körnerpark.de
