To the letter, woven facts

With my textiles, I'm used to people exclaiming ‘What the fact!’ in the sense of, what, it's woven and not printed? How is that possible?
This time I have woven a wave in such a way that threads sag between 2 transparent fabrics in such a way that they are reminiscent of the sea. I used a bouclé yarn for the foaming wave at the top, and silver threads are woven in for the sea glitter. On closer inspection, you can see that small plastic ducks populate this sea.
My second theme made me think of our screen-populated world. In the past, there were often glitches in our televisions, which were then excused with pause signs or snowy, rasterised, distorted image shapes. Then you thought, ‘WTF, what's going on again? I emphasised the flickering of the screens with the help of a shiny transparent plastic yarn.
3. In 1964, a teacher in Zambia founded a National Academy of Space Research, which lasted only a few months. The photographer Christina de Middel was inspired by the existing visual material and initiated surrealistic photos that were published in La Lettre, among others, and were also a theme at last year's Venice Biennale. These photos inspired me to create my ‘Afronaut fabric’, whereby the ‘image disturbance’ actually inexplicably occurred in my computer in exactly the same way.
4 I am working on a tromp d'oeil of trees reflected in the water. As my fabrics will be hanging between trees in the park, I think this will be particularly attractive.
5 I am also working on a reflection in a wine glass with its shadow.
My exhibition will be complemented with matching collages.
