Studio Shira Orion

Shira Orion (b. 1993 in Haifa) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Berlin. She studied at the Weißensee Academy of Art Berlin and completed her Meisterschülerin degree in 2022 under Prof. Friederike Feldmann. Her work brings together painting, installation, drawing, printmaking, music, video, and textiles in poetic explorations of body, memory, trauma processing, and identity. Using personal narratives and autofictional elements, she plays with multiple realities. Her work has been shown at Brücke Museum Berlin, Zitadelle Spandau, the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen, Galerie Weißer Elefant, and CCA Tel Aviv. She has received several grants, including the Elsa Neumann Scholarship and a research grant from the State of Berlin.
