Späti 24/7 on Sonnenallee is more than a kiosk – it is a social meeting point, a late-night hub for stories, music and encounters. Open around the clock, neighbours, night owls, artists and friends gather here. Between crates of drinks, international snacks and spontaneous conversations, a place emerges where Neukölln becomes visible in all its immediacy.

During 48 Stunden Neukölln, the späti itself becomes a stage: DJs play live sets and transform the street in front of the shop into an open sound space. Visitors can come, stay or move on again – following the rhythm of Sonnenallee.

For years, the shop has been a meeting point for people from the local music and art scene. Familiar faces regularly show up here, among them the Neukölln rapper Gringo, who grew up in the area and remains part of this neighbourhood. Whether and when he might appear remains open. This unpredictability is part of the character of the place: things at the späti happen spontaneously.

The event therefore understands itself less as a classical concert or exhibition than as a snapshot of a living place – the living room of this street. Whoever stops by experiences Neukölln as it really is: raw, direct and full of surprises.
