An exhibition about the insights in our lives, between city and nature.
The project STADT/T/NATUR, initiated by Merlin J. Noack and Sian P Lang, in collab with friends, tries to find spaces between the city and the nature in Berlin.
The exhibition presents photography, drawings, mixed-media-installations and performances. The artists use lyrics, soundscapes, video installations and live painting performance to get closer to the green islands in the city.
The collective is exploring some questions of between similarity and opposite of city and nature. Can we find real nature in urban areas? How does nature present itself in the city and how does it feel? Is nature different in rural areas, as in the city?
Green areas, like Tempelhofer Feld and Hasenheide, show the power of nature in the city, which reclaims space and gets pushed back.
Along the exhibition, every festival evening will be a performance with field-recordings, singing and sound art and a walk with a guided shamanic journey every day.
