A Public Art Project

Kiez Voices is an interactive public art installation that invites people to share their thoughts about community, city life and the future.

A physical display presents a curated set of questions, each linked to a QR code. Passersby can respond instantly and anonymously using their phones- turning everyday reflections into a shared, visible narrative.

With the same installation also placed at the Kindle Areal, the project creates a dialogue between different neighborhoods, revealing how context shapes what people think and feel.

At its core, Kiez Voices makes local voices visible - and invites everyone to be part of the conversation.

Biography

Mario Steinbuch

Mario Steinbuch is a multidisciplinary artist whose work ranges from large-scale laser light installations to abstract acrylic paintings, concrete sculptures, and curious physical objects. His creations move playfully between art, design, and experimentation—always with the aim of surprising people and bringing them into interaction.

At the core of his work is authentic human connection. His pieces are less objects than catalysts: for conversations, for laughter, for moments of genuine encounter.
