The performers will begin as separate individuals in the space, each trying to remain physically independent. Over time, this independence will become harder to maintain. One person may begin to lean into another. Someone else may brace a shoulder, hold a back, support a falling body, or lower themselves toward the ground. Small gestures of assistance will gradually become larger systems of support. Bodies will form temporary structures: one person holding another upright, two people carrying the weight of a third, a small group forming a wall, a platform, a shelter, or a fragile shared body.
The movement will not be choreographed in a traditional sense. Instead, it will unfold through simple rules and physical response. Performers will lean, hold, brace, carry, resist, lower, refuse, recover, and redistribute weight over time. Sometimes support will arrive too late. Sometimes someone will give too much. Sometimes a person will refuse help, or be unable to offer it. Sometimes the structure will almost collapse and have to reorganize itself. These moments of instability are central to the work.

The central rule of the performance is:
No one can fully support themselves forever.

The central question of the work is:
Who holds the person who is holding everyone else?
