Summer has only arrived when the swifts start to cry out in the skies over Berlin. In a tribute to these strange and transient birds who spend their whole lives in motion, Izzy Liberti has created a small flock of porcelain counterparts to complement the living, breathing, birds in the sky.
Biography
Izzy Liberti
Izzy Liberti is an artist who works primarily in printmaking, animation and ceramics. She uses the cross-pollination of media to confuse two- and three-dimensional space as a metaphor for the confusion between the emotional and the architectural. She was born and raised between shopping malls and highways in New Jersey. She is currently a Master's student at the Weissensee School of Art in the Visual Communication program.
