In the summer of 2023, I drew on the streets of Neukölln, especially on Sonnenallee and Karl-Marx-Straße. When I sit on my painter's stool, draw lines and watercolor some details, peace returns. The babble of voices and the sounds of the cars become a steady murmur, and where I used to see movement, there now seems to be stillness. I notice all the details that I usually tend to overlook.
