Yoga as a western city hype! But please, no city sounds, the noise has to stay outside. But what if the city forces its way through every crack with horn concerts, platform announcements, rants, rail squeals, roaring, pulsating, barking, rushing.

With our sound installation RelaX! we invite every visitor to get involved with the essence of the big city, to relax in the installation on rails, asphalt, grass and garbage, to meditate and let the sounds of the big city flood them.
We first let the city into the space and, little by little, into ourselves and ask ourselves when “urban silence” occurs: through absence or flooding with noise? When your own thoughts are no longer loudest or when the noise of the city carries us to sleep?

With an ironic wink, RelaX! invites us to explore the big city as part of ourselves - or to escape from it.

Friday
8 p.m. Pole Performance “Dancing in the City Noise”

Saturdays and Sundays
Guided yoga sessions at 1 p.m., 3 p.m., 5 p.m. (15-30 minutes each). 8 people each, everyone else can move through the room as part of the installation.

During the entire opening hours, you can explore the installation independently, rest or meditate in it.

Saturdays Yoga with Daria:
With a lot of humor and curiosity we explore the spaces we have in the city to find stillness in movement and movement in stillness - while living in Neukölln, riding the U8 and being just slightly overwhelmed by the number of strangers that surround us every day.

Sundays Yoga with Amélie:
We will explore how different ways of stillness can be experienced – stillness of the mind and of the body. How do we move in an environment of constant movement and change? How do we find balance? We explore where the inner and outer worlds merge through various physical yoga positions (asanas), meditation, intuitive and free movement.
